It’s Fall y’all!

I honestly can not believe we are approaching the end of October! Time seems to be flying by and I have the urge to slam on the brakes a little. There just never seems like there is enough time to fit in all the Fall fun I plan to have or attend.

It’s time for bonfires, pumpkins, baking, decorating and more! Nothing brings out the baker in me more then Fall time.

When the pumpkins and squash go on display I feel compelled to include them in everything I cook and bake!

It’s no surprise to anyone that knows me well or if you have taken a peak at my blog in the last year that I went through a divorce. My heart cringes at even typing that word and if you are or have gone through it you can sympathize and understand what I mean.

I have found that even though the heart break has been great and the struggle hard God has still shown himself faithful, loving and has taught me some great lessons along the way that I wouldn’t trade for anything!

Throughout this whole process I have been very reflective and open to what He chooses to teach me. That’s not to say its been easy or that I have gone along with Him without my complaints, tears, and attitude at times but I know I have grown and continue to do so.

From the beginning He has shown me exactly what to do and has led me every step of the way. He led me to the best attorney and I thank Him for that daily!

As I sat in my room the other night I felt this is what God gave me.

10 Things I Learned About God I learned From My Lawyer

1.Don’t hesitate to call on his behalf when you are in trouble and don’t know what to do….

โ€œCall to me, and I will answer you; I will tell you wonderful and marvelous things that you know nothing about. (Jeremiah 33:3 GNT)

2.He will listen intently and take your case seriously….

Hear my prayer ….listen to my cry for help! (Psalm 88:2 GNT)

3.Listen and heed his advice…

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. (John 10:27 GNT)

4. Don’t take silence to mean he is not working…

All of you that honor the LORD
and obey the words of his servant,
the path you walk may be dark indeed,
but trust in the LORD, rely on your God. (Isaiah 50:10 GNT)

5.When he says he will do something or be there in a situation.. Believe him even if it seems late to you….

you would be there to lead me,
you would be there to help me. (Psalm 139:10 GNT)

6. He’s fighting for you! He knows the system and sees things you do not….

The LORD will fight for you, and all you have to do is keep still.โ€ (Exodus 14:14 GNT)

7.He won’t tolerate injustice or the attacks from the enemy but will handle the situation with confidence, ease and strength….

โ€œThe LORD is your mighty defender,
perfect and just in all his ways;
Your God is faithful and true;
he does what is right and fair. (Deuteronomy 32:4 GNT)

8.Don’t believe the report of the enemy ..( He is a liar).. He will always come through!….

From the very beginning he was a murderer and has never been on the side of truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he is only doing what is natural to him, because he is a liar and the father of all lies. (John 8:44 GNT)

9. He has your best interest at heart and will take responsibility for you you need only to be still and heed his advice….

We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 GNT)

10. He will win your case! …

With God on our side we will win;
he will defeat our enemies. (Psalm 60:12 GNT)

With Fall brings a new season and I love newness! So let’s go into this season thankful and always have our hearts open to change and the great lessons we can learn with it!

Have a fabulous Saturday! I’m spending mine with family at Dollywood… Yee Haw ๐Ÿ˜‰
